For our first summer we will be focused on getting the store up and running, but this winter we will start repairing canoes! Tyler maintained a local rental fleet of 200+ canoes for 5 years, is one of the only certified Bell Canoe Works repairmen in the country, and has extensive experience repairing composite canoes. We encourage you always to reach out for advice on your canoe by calling us at (218) 520-3991. We will always provide free advice, so never hesitate to call with questions. When we do start repairing canoes, it will likely be by appointment, so you can drop your canoe and pick it back up all in one trip. We thank that works out in everyone’s favor!
Redfeather Outdoors has built its reputation around helping people get out on the water without overcomplicating the experience. Based in northern Minnesota, they focus on practical, well-built gear that fits the way people actually explore the Northwoods. Their canoe lineup reflects that approach, lightweight, durable, and designed for everything from a quick evening paddle to a full Boundary Waters trip. You can feel the difference right away, these boats are built to move efficiently across the water while still handling well when conditions shift.
Where Redfeather really stands out is in how approachable their canoes are. Whether someone is new to paddling or has been doing it for years, the balance of stability and performance makes them easy to trust. They’re light enough for portages, tough enough for rocky landings, and designed with the kind of thoughtful details that come from real-world use. It’s the kind of gear that doesn’t just look good on the rack, it earns its place once it’s out on the lake.
